Beginning Fifth Year!
Yes, Bluewood Gallery begins its 5th year this month! Generally the retail gallery is closed in January to allow some time for re-vamping and gearing up for the busier seasons. This week we’re experiencing our third winter storm of the season and it’s only early February! The mountains here in Western North Carolina are beautiful in the snow and ice and the photographers rush out (conditions permitting!) to get the great shots. These areas don’t get much snow every year. Here are a few from this week’s storm from Bruce Siulinski.

The image below is a night shot that uses painting by light. It’s a fun and creative way to shoot when you can’t even get out of your driveway. All that’s missing is a hearty foursome at the table!
