Eleanor Carlisle
“Nature is my favorite subject … the beauty, force and fun of it … which I love to share through pictures. Hopefully we will never lose through greed and carelessness the beauty of nature that we have been given. But just in case, I like to capture as much of it as I can.”
Eleanor is a Hendersonville native now living in Transylvania County. She has been fascinated with photography since she received a Kodak box camera at the age of 12. She is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and is a current member of F32, PixelPushers, Carolina Nature Photography Association and is on the Land of Waterfalls Camera Club Steering Committee. She has won numerous awards in WNC and most recently her works have hung in the Designers Showcase Home.
